Our Mission is to provide support to Mississippi Industries for the Blind in order to expand employment opportunities and programs that promote independence and self sufficiency for people in Mississippi who are blind or visually impaired.

In this day of high unemployment, one statistic that is often over looked is the number of people who are blind that are unemployed. Over 70% of people who are blind are currently unemployed. With Mississippi having the highest incidence of blindness in the country, there is a significant number of Mississippians who are blind that are out of work.

By supporting the programs of Mississippi Industries for the Blind, the MIB Foundation is working to create employment opportunities for Mississippians who are blind. But, Mississippi Industries for the Blind wants to do more than just employ people, they want to reach out into the community to help improve the lives of all people who are blind.

Your donation to the MIB Foundation
will help make this happen.
